The Cardiff wing is one of six players surviving from the Wales squad that enjoyed a 2-0 series win over Argentina eight years ago. He knows the next fortnight will be a crucial step for Steve Tandy’s developing squad.
“Going to Argentina, going to San Juan and playing there will definitely be a different test,” Adams said.
“I played there in 2018 and I won.
“So I know how difficult it is and I know how good the Argentines are at the minute. So when you talk about Tests, that’s it.”
Adams, who toured South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2021, also knows next week could be tougher.
“Then the World Champions in Durban is a little matter,” he added.
“So we have some tests coming up and will be a good gauge of where this team is in the next two weeks.”
