Democratic Congress leader Jim McGovern tells host Steve Clemons that the left is on the rise because Americans “want more from the Democrats”.
“Right now, we’re doing a lot of bad things around the world, and people need to protest,” McGovern says. On US policy from Cuba to Israel, he says that Congress has become “a rubber stamp for everything the president wants to do”.
“We have to fight for the life of this country,” McGovern adds.
