France star Ryan Cherky has fired up his World Cup quarter-final clash with Morocco, promising a real “war” against the Atlas Lions at Boston Stadium next Thursday.

Sharkey confirmed after France’s 1-0 win over Paraguay in the Round of 16 that the Blue Roosters will invest the next five days in physical and mental recovery in preparation for the awaited March, saying:

Despite being busy with the Paraguay game, the French player appreciated the level of the Moroccan team, stressing: “I didn’t watch their match because we were busy, but we know they are a good team with a lot of quality.”

The decider will be played next Thursday, in a game in which both sides are looking to secure a place in the semi-finals.
