Video: Benzema exposes Darwin Nunes in 10 games

“Al Hilal” striker Frenchman Karim Benzema exposed his Uruguayan teammate Darwin Nunes in his tenth match with “Al-Zaim” this season.

Al-Hilal hosted Al-Hazm at the Al-Hazm Club Stadium in Al-Rassi today, Saturday, in the thirty-first round of the Roshan League competition.

Just 9 minutes after the start of the game, Benzema scored the first goal for Al Hilal after converting a corner kick into the goal.

The goal was the French forward’s ninth goal for Al Zaim in various competitions since his move in the last winter transfer window following the termination of his contract with Al Ittihad.

Thus, Benzema has scored as many goals in Al Hilal as Uruguayan Darwin Nunes since he moved to their ranks from Liverpool in the last summer transfer period.

The difference is that Benzema hit this number even though he played less than half of Núñez’s matches, with the French forward making just 10 appearances compared to his Uruguayan counterpart’s 24.

Notably, all of Benzema’s goals for Al Hilal have come in the Saudi Arabian League, while Núñez has scored just 6 goals in the competition, with another 3 goals in the AFC Elite Champions League.
