A life-sized Lego bench built in memory of Guernsey’s Matthew Girard

Jo Priaulx, co-founder of the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation in Southampton, which provides accommodation for families while babies stay in hospital after traveling from the islands, thanked the volunteers.

“The idea of ​​a memorial bench has been in the works for a while, so this will be a big moment for Sarah and her family,” she said.

“Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.”

In one of the charity’s Southampton apartments is a Lego-themed hideaway, also in honor of Matthew.
