The goalkeeper of Saudi Arabia suffers in the ranks of “Al-Alami”.
A recurring curse has ruled Al-Nasr goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi out of existence on the anniversary of his worst run of games for the team in the current Rushen League season.
In the thirty-first round of the Roshen League, Al-Nasr will host Al-Qadisiya tomorrow, Sunday, at the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
Around 24 hours before the match, Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya confirmed that goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi will be out of Al-Nasr’s squad for the second time in a row, following his absence from the last game against Al-Ahly.
The newspaper explained that this absence came because the Saudi goalkeeper suffered a muscle injury, as a result of which he underwent a treatment and rehabilitation program, unable to participate in group training.

Al-Nasr’s first game against Al-Qadisiya this season was Nawaf Al-Aqidi’s worst this season, after he made a mistake that gave Al-Sharqav the first goal, so the match ended in a 1-2 defeat.
Al-Aqidi then made another mistake that saw him sent off in the next match against Al-Hilal, which ended in a 1–3 defeat, and has since been absent from the starting line-up in favor of Brazilian goalkeeper Pinto.
