Is nature rebelling against Barca?
The force majeure circumstances overshadowed the match between “Barcelona” and “Osasuna”, which was supposed to take place this evening at the “El Sadar” stadium of the 34th round of La Liga.
The Spanish meteorological agency AEMET has issued an orange warning in the city of Pamplona, which means that there is an important danger that could affect the course of the match.
According to the authorities’ website, there is a possibility of up to 30 liters of rain per square meter within an hour, an intensity that could disrupt the course of the match.
This rain may also be accompanied by thunderstorms and very strong winds, in addition to the possibility of hail.
The weather service says the weather conditions will begin at 1:00 p.m. to midnight, the risk is classified as high for short periods of rain and relatively low for longer periods, as rain amounts could reach 50 mm in 12 hours with a chance of accumulation.
Thus, the weather could turn into a “difficult guest” that threatens to spoil tonight’s summit, affecting the field or even the safety of the players and the flow of the game.
