Wimbledon 2026 results: Iga Suatek defeated by Alexandra Ila, Elena Rybakina out

Suetek screamed at his box before heading down court to reset, only to quickly find himself 4-0 down.

Her quality waned as she saved a break and let it go in the next game and then put Ila under pressure as she served for the match – only for the Filipina to brave the pair on break point.

Suitek finished the match with 44 unforced errors and five double faults to one ace, the final point a long forehand from the frustrated Pole.

Ila – the first player from the Philippines to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam in the Open era – will next face 2024 runner-up Jasmine Paolini.
