TV tonight: another chance to enjoy Catherine O’Hara in Schitt’s Creek | TV & radio

Schitt’s Creek

9.30pm, BBC Three

The world lost Catherine O’Hara earlier this year, and Eugene and Dan Levy’s family comedy, her favorite, is no longer available on Netflix. But fans can now tune in to Schitt’s Creek on iPlayer. Here’s another three-bill, packing with Johnny applying to the unemployment office and Moira throwing a lunch for the locals to sell jewelry (“Your beauty is possible!”). Hollie Richardson

The Royals: Not asked

1pm, Channel 5

With Prince Harry and Meghan planning to travel to the UK with their family in July – for the first time in four years – there was plenty of royal meat for journalists Katie Nicholl and Jo Elvin to choose from with their guest Piers Morgan on the opening show last week. With the travel landscape constantly changing, expect many ongoing conflicts. HR

Xander continues to tour the US and seems happy to return to shooting with the family that has been moonlighting for years. Elsewhere in West Virginia, he visits a deluxe resort with a large nuclear reactor and joins the locals to create an Appalachian song. Graeme Virtue

Happy Independence Day! For all those celebrating, the BBC has gone through the archives to capture obscure performances from jazz musicians (Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong), kings of pop (Bruce Springsteen, Carole King, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga) and obscure beauties (Liberace). It follows last month’s excellent 40 Originals. Priya Elan

Love Island: Unseen

10pm, ITV2

From reality TV stars Simba and Samraj to Spitgate (for the uninitiated – don’t Google it), this year’s edition of Love Island UK has featured plenty of questionable behaviour. If you’re still, bravely, in the market for more, Iain Stirling explains the rest of last week’s compilation. Hannah J Davies

Today at Wimbledon

Midnight, BBC Two

It’s almost the end of the tennis season but if World Cup football has been watching you, here’s a recap of day six. It also replays the day’s matches, which include the third round of men’s and women’s singles. HR

Bugonia, 10.25am, 8pm, Sky Cinema Premiere

A close encounter… Emma Stone in Bugonia. Photo: FlixPix/Alamy

A crime writer (Jesse Plemons) and a CEO-aybe-alien (Emma Stone) meet in a wild black comedy. Plemons is Teddy Gatz, a warehouse worker and beekeeper, frustrated by the damage that organizations such as Michelle Fuller (Stone) are facing. Teddy’s “research” on the Internet has convinced him that Fuller is an Andromedan colonist who wants to enslave people, so together with his autistic cousin Don (Aidan Delbis), Teddy wants to kidnap him and discuss the liberation of Earth. Technically, Bugonia is a remake of a Korean film, but the bad idea comes from Yorgos Lanthimos, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Poor and Dear Things. Ellen E Jones
