FIFA is considering moving the game to Mexico City’s Azteca, which kicks off at 01:00 BST on Monday.
Forecasts suggest thunderstorms and heavy rain around this time.
One suggestion is that the game could be moved to 19:00 BST on Sunday six o’clock.
However, a final decision has not been made and the initial start time may be delayed.
