Negotiations with Fenerbahçe are ongoing Manchester City More than £7m deal for Netherlands defender Nathan Ake.
The Turkish club said personal terms had been agreed with the 31-year-old but sources told BBC Sport that details of the transfer were still being finalised.
Negotiations are expected to conclude soon, with the Dutchman set to move on a deal that could be worth up to £8.5m with add-ons.
He made three appearances for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup before being eliminated by Morocco in the last 32.
Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yildirim is keen to sign Ake, who joined City Bournemouth £40m in 2020 and has made 177 appearances for the club.
City were expected to sell him this summer, with a year remaining on his contract, with Pep Guardiola having limited playing time last season.
He made just 17 starts in all competitions last season with six of those coming in the Premier League.
“The player, who wore the jersey at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will join our team in the Austria camp following the approval process,” Fenerbahce said.
Ake won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, two League Cups and the Champions League during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
