Jon Prosser responds to Apple’s case by blaming the other person

YouTuber Jon Prosser has finally filed an official response to the lawsuit Apple has filed against him and another defendant for stealing iOS secrets. In response, Prosser denied that he “planned or participated in any conspiracy or conspiracy” with “the intent to harm Apple.” However, Prosser admitted that he filmed a FaceTime call showing the unreleased iOS app and shared the money from his YouTube videos about the leak with the person who showed it to him. Prosser also said that the other defendant is “fully liable” for the disclosure of trade secrets.

Last July, Apple announced his case that Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti had “an iPhone-related scheme to develop Apple, steal Apple’s trade secrets, and profit from the theft.” Ramacciotti, Apple says, showed Prosser information about iOS from Apple employee Ethan Lipnik’s development iPhone in a FaceTime call. Over the course of a few months in 2025, Prosser made three videos on his Front Page Tech YouTube channel detailing the unannounced iOS 19 with features like Liquid Glass that Apple will continue to showcase at WWDC as part of its iOS 26 operating system.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment. When asked about the case earlier this yearApple spokeswoman Jacqueline Roy said Seaside that “We do not respond to formal charges.”

A few months after Apple filed the lawsuit, the clerk entered without change against Prosser after he failed to respond to the complaint, meaning the case could proceed without him. But Prosser said in an April filing that he would ultimately retain counsel. In June, Prosser agreed sit down to giveand soon after, Prosser and Apple asked the judge in the case to set aside the default entry. He saidand gave Prosser 10 days to respond to Apple’s complaint.
