The BBC is offering a special ‘Stay Up or Catch Up’ live coverage of England’s 2026 World Cup match with Mexico.
Kicking off at 01:00 BST on Monday, the last-16 match will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlay, with presenter Kelly Cates joined by Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart and Micah Richards.
There will also be a full spoiler-free replay of the game on BBC Two at 07:10 BST.A full replay of the game will be available on demand on BBC iPlayer from 06:00 BST.
It will also feature live radio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sound, along with live text coverage and relevant clips on the BBC Sport website and app.
An extended 15-minute highlights program will also be available on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport Football YouTube channel.
And fans can watch the game live in 3D on BBC Sport’s popular World Cup 3D Experience feature.
Alex Kaye-Jelski, the BBC’s director of sport, said: “World Cup knockout football is absolutely unmissable, but a 1:00am kick-off is not for everyone.”
We want to make sure there is an alternative for fans who can’t stay to experience one of England’s biggest matches live.
