Iran’s nuclear and military damage revealed in restricted satellite images.

Since March 9, several areas around the coastal city of Bushehr have been damaged or completely destroyed, images show.

According to Jens, the affected areas include military buildings and government facilities belonging to the government of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including aircraft hangers, ammunition storage, docks, piers and missile launch sites.

Many buildings have cavernous roofs and some appear completely flat. Other images show wrecked planes and sunken ships. Craters are also visible on several runways, including those at Bushehr International Airport – some of which have been repaired.

In some areas – designated as “military” on online maps such as OpenStreetMaps – almost every building has been destroyed.

The damage seen matches reports from the US and Israel that it not only engaged standing forces but also degraded the infrastructure behind them, said Jeremy Binney, Middle East defense expert at Jane’s.

According to Jane’s analysis, the construction and maintenance sheds at the Navy Dockyard were destroyed.
