The Germans can’t get enough of Kane and the feeling is mutual, with England’s all-time record goalscorer expected to extend his contract at Bayern after the World Cup.
The 32-year-old immersed himself in life in Munich, where he appeared in traditional clothes while drinking, and it could be said that Germany has become an alternative home for Kane.
England also have a German coach, Thomas Tuchel, who leads from the bench.
So perhaps it’s no surprise that the devastated Germany crowd went crazy for England, then Their team remained without a trace in the World Cup.
