As Swift releases new music and her lyrics are dissected for any clues about her personal life, her legions of fans around the world have been searching for clues to her marital status.

When it comes to New York, Swift’s love of the Big Apple can be found in her music and some have pointed to her recent appearance at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks Playoffs in early June. The star also has a house in the city.

There were other natural geographic theories as to where the couple’s wedding might take place.

Swift has a charming beachside home in the US state of Rhode Island for a summer wedding.

She was in that estate before she met Kelsey.

In a now-famous Instagram post shared after Independence Day weekend 2023, Swift posted, “See you tonight, Kansas City.”

Many fans speculated that Swift had been admiring Kelce’s wedding sign for three years until the day she met her future husband.

There was a false theory that Swift wanted to hold her wedding at a Rhode Island location near the beach estate, and Swift and Kelce offered other couples large sums of money to move their nuptials. The venue rejected that account.

A Rhode Island wedding in June was predicted with paparazzi taking photos of the wedding in the area (which later turned out not to honor the famous couple) and fans roaming the area. Swiftists who attended last month were disappointed.

Then there were other theories: Kansas City, where Kelce lives and works, Swift’s home state of Pennsylvania and the NFL star’s home state of Ohio.

But at the time, the singer is a big fan of the 4th of July holiday, which lends more credence to the theory that she chooses the American holiday weekend as much as possible.
