Where is the Argentine star going?
Atletico Madrid has filed an official complaint with the International Football Association (FIFA) and the Spanish Football Federation against Barcelona over the “harassment” of Argentinean player Julián Alvarez, Atletico’s striker.
Last week, after the statements of Julián Alvarez, where he said: “The best thing for everyone is to leave. I want to fulfill my dream,” Atletico Madrid confirmed they will consider filing a complaint against Barcelona, according to Spanish newspaper Cobe, on Tuesday.
A few hours after Alvarez’s statements, the CEO of Atletico Madrid, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, said in an interview with the Spanish news agency Efe.

Alvarez is under contract with Atletico Madrid until 2030 with a release clause of up to €500m, but he has publicly stated his desire to leave the Madrid club amid Barcelona’s big ambitions to win a deal for the Argentine star this summer.
