Norwegian international goalkeeper Selma Panengstuan says she has completed a “dream” move by joining Women’s Super League side Tottenham.
The 23-year-old shot to fame in 2025, playing a key role in helping Bergen-based side SK Brann to their second league title under current Spurs coach Martin Ho.
Panengstuen started 27 league games during that campaign, keeping 18 clean sheets. She made her international debut in a friendly against Sweden in June 2025 and then played in a 1–0 home win against Manchester United in the first leg of a Women’s Champions League qualifier in September.
And he has started the current Norwegian season in fine form with eight clean sheets from 11 games.
But she opted to switch to Spurs to play in the Women’s Super League.
“It’s a project that’s going up,” said Panengstuan, whose contract length was not disclosed.
“I’ve got some friends here, and they’ve said some great things about Spurs.”
Ho added: “Selma is a goalkeeper of outstanding potential who already has a strong foundation to her game.
“He has qualities we value highly, shot-stopping ability, courage, communication, athleticism and a mindset to keep improving every day.”
