At $499, Apple’s M3-powered iPad Air is a bargain

Many a Apple’s price is increasing has gone into effect, making iPads and other products more expensive than they were a few days ago. If last week’s Prime Day sale wasn’t a good time to consider buying an iPad, we’ve found a deal worth considering for under $500 right now. At just $50 more than the original iPad (now $449, up from $349), it’s a great and fast tablet.

Although the last gen Air matches the screen size of the iPad 11-inch, the Air has a protective coating, a fold, and a larger color. In other words, it is a better choice for entertainment or content creation. In terms of specs, its M3 processor jumps ahead of the A16 with more cores, not to mention support for Apple Intelligence (and support for iPadOS 27 coming later this year). It also has support for Apple Pencil Pro.
