NFL record holder Chris Johnson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The former Tennessee Titans running back was diagnosed last year at age 39 and shared his story to raise awareness.
ALS is a slowly progressive disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
