May Day protests were held in major American cities

May Day events were held across the United States in major cities such as Seattle, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, DC.

More than a thousand protesters marched through the city’s downtown streets in support of workers’ rights at the May Day Coalition in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani praised unions and called for stronger protections for workers at a rally in Washington Square Park.
