Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Chuamini faces an uncertain future in the Spanish capital as he has been heavily linked as a candidate to leave in the current summer transfer window, despite his importance to the coaching staff for financial and technical reasons related to the team’s restructuring.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Real will need to sell several players to achieve financial balance and secure the necessary liquidity to sign major deals, notably the inclusion of Argentine Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, who the club is demanding €140m to let him go.
Tshwamini is considered to be one of the highest market value players in the Merengue ranks, apart from being the focus of a lot of interest from English Premier League clubs, most notably Manchester United, who have been tracking him for a long time. English reports say that the Red Devils are ready to make him one of the team’s highest-paid players.
Although the France international’s contract runs until 2028 and the club were planning to extend it, an attractive offer could represent a golden opportunity for Real, given the reluctance of other players to leave, led by Eduardo Camavinga.
The Royals recognize that selling Tshwamini will have a significant impact on the team athletically, especially given the need for depth in midfield, but also recognize that it will be one of the most lucrative deals that could be made to fund other transfers, including Nico Paz’s eventual move to Como.
Although Real have not yet officially decided to put him up for sale, the option is gradually getting stronger, especially if the club sign a big deal in midfield and provide the necessary funds, making Tshwamini a “surprise casualty” in the current transfer window.
