The Algerian star is racing against time to reach Switzerland

Algeria star Mohamed Lamin Amoura is racing against time to face Switzerland in the World Cup Round of 32 next Friday.

Ammoura missed Algeria’s match with Austria at the end of the group stage due to injury.

Ammoura came on as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat to Argentina, but then picked up a hamstring injury in training ahead of the match against Jordan.

He mentioned Place La Gazette du Fennec Coach Vladimir Petkovic gave the Algerian national team players a day off after training, when the qualification for the 32nd round was decided.

But Ammoura did not benefit from the rest, as he continued to work alone and underwent individual training, and is doing everything to return in the match against Switzerland.

Although he is not yet back to 100% fitness, Ammora could play around 15 minutes towards the end of the match, depending on the course of the game and the development of events.
