Wimbledon 2026: Emma Raducanu plans to play Wimbledon despite leg injury


Britain’s Emma Raducanu said she “plans to play” at Wimbledon on Monday, despite her participation in serious doubt due to a leg injury.

The 23-year-old Raducanu has decided to play after a brief training session at the All England club on Sunday.

Seeded 30th, Raducanu will begin her campaign against Croatia’s Antonia Ruzic in Court One (13:00 BST).

Britain’s number one fitness concern increased last week.
