Petkovic. A draw with Austria is crazy… and football won in the end

Algeria coach Vladimir Petkovic of Switzerland described the 3-3 draw against Austria at the end of the 2026 World Cup Group 10 tournament as “a bit crazy”.

The Algerian national team met Switzerland in the round of 32, a clash that was special for Petkovic, who coached the Swiss national team between 2014 and 2021.
