Taylor Swift’s industry is one of the most interesting things of our time. Ahead of the rumors of her marriage to Travis Kelce this month, these posts are a testament to this: an unabashed and sometimes deep dive into Swift’s love history. From Jonas to Lautner to Styles to Alwyn, there is little to reveal to Swifties. But it’s nice to be reminded of how they work like lightning; his performance is placed at the heart of all his music (although you could be forgiven for thinking that he was the first artist to do so on the basis of this analysis) and the whole culture. This thriller examining the crimes of mass murderers Patrick Kearney, William Bonin and Randy Kraft doubles as a story of gay life in 60s America. It is clear that the only reason the killers escaped detection for so long was the isolation of LGBTQ+ people in ordinary life. PH
