Jordan Pickford: After a wet first half, Jose Luis Rodriguez’s effort was well saved in the first half. Two loose cleaners, though. 6
Jarrell Kunsah: He made his first World Cup debut as a right-back. Reese James lacks passing range but is solid defensively. It is remembered that he left with an ankle injury in the second half. 6
Ezri Konsa: A good through ball released Marcus Rashford on the attack early on. But Panama was able to make good use of the space left by England and run towards their own goal. 6
Mark Guhi: England had to fend off an onslaught from Panama, with the Three Lions having to make a few comeback attempts when they scored the opening goal. 6
Nico O’Reilly: His ability to get the ball into the midfield with left back O’Reilly was even more important. A real threat in the air late on into the box. 6
Elliott Anderson: He continues to show why he is England’s starting number six. He was responsible for being the only defensive midfielder who kept the ball rolling in midfield. He had a lot of ground to cover but injected pace into the England attack and scored the ball. 7
Jude Bellingham: Played in a deeper role and was on the ball more than in the previous match. In the second half, Harry Kane played into the box to score England’s goal and provided Kane with a quality assist in the second minute. He showed again why he is England’s X-factor. 8
Bukayo Saka: The Arsenal winger was always a threat when he was on the ball and taking on defenders. Saka’s quality delivery from the corner is a real weapon for England and is one of the deliveries that have helped England take the lead. 6
Morgan Rogers: After coming on as a substitute in the first two games, he made his first start, adjusted in tight spaces, but a tough game that came with a lot of turnovers. 6
Marcus Rashford: In the first half, he made a good attempt and shot to the England striker and beat the goalkeeper. When he’s on the ball, even if he’s not down, you always feel there’s a chance something might happen. 7
Harry Kane: Encouraged to stay high and get out of the already packed midfield. It means that the England captain did not have many touches in the first half. Kane was more involved as the game opened and scored England’s second goal to complete the win. 7
