Video: England maintain their lead as they break Panama’s resistance

England finished the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage top of Group 12 after beating Panama 2-0 on Saturday night.

Marcus Rashford almost scored before the end of the first half, but his shot went wide of the left post.

England stepped up their attacks in the face of a strong Panamanian defense and Jude Bellingham opened the scoring for the Three Lions in the 62nd minute.

Five minutes later, the England team doubled their lead with a second goal, Harry Kane’s header.

England topped Group 12 with 7 points, while Panama remained without a point at the bottom of the group.

The English team has received a ticket to the round of 32 with Croatia, who beat Ghana 2-1, occupying the second position with 6 points.
