Following in Al-Javir’s footsteps…Al-Hilal’s departed player approaches Al-Qadisiya.

The new leader player is about to leave

Saudi Al-Hilal winger Muhammad Al-Qahtani is on the verge of leaving Al-Zaim in the current summer transfer window, after he left Italian Simone Inzaghi’s technical staff to move closer to a new experience with Al-Qadisiya.

Recent years have seen a number of young talents leave Al Hilal in search of opportunities, and at the forefront of them is Musab Al-Jaweer, who had a number of loan spells before settling with Al-Qadisiyah and has produced remarkable performances that have made him one of the team’s most popular players.

According to the newspaper Middle East Al-Qadisiya management in Saudi Arabia have agreed a contract with Al-Hilal for Muhammad Al-Qahtani, after manager Simone Inzaghi agreed to the player’s departure in the summer Mercato.

The newspaper added that “Al-Qadisiya” has made a formal offer to “Al-Hilal” while the two sides have agreed on the financial value of the deal. All personal matters have also been agreed with the player, including the length of the contract and the salary, and it remains only to complete some simple administrative procedures before the official announcement.

Al-Qahtani will be hoping for more regular opportunities, especially after suffering from a lack of minutes at Al-Hilal which saw him move on loan to Al-Taawoun in the winter transfer window last season.

The 23-year-old winger made 13 appearances for Al-Taawoun in the second half of last season and managed one goal before returning to Al-Hilal. However, his departure from Inzaghi’s accounts saw him close to starting a new chapter in his career with Al-Qadisiya.
