Pakistan ended a disappointing T20 World Cup campaign, beating winless Netherlands by 37 runs.

Netherlands lost their last seven wickets for just 13 runs, initially looking capable of chasing 127 runs.

Pakistan’s Gul Feroza (63*) and Ayesha Zafar (32) put on a 61-ball 79-run stand for the second wicket. Five Pakistan batsmen scored in single figures, with Iris Juiling taking 2-19.

Heather Caesars (24 off 16) gave the Dutch a good start in their run chase but was pinned lbw by Diana Baig and despite Babette de Leed’s typically 41-ball 30, the run-rate continued to rise.

They went from 76-3 to 89 all out in four overs – with Fatima Sana dismissing D Lead and Silver Caesars in successive balls to seal the result.

Caroline de Lange survived the hat-trick ball but was bowled two balls later.
