Hossam Hasan. Salah is injured… and I’m not afraid of absences against Australia

Absolute confidence

The coach of the Egyptian national team, Hossam Hassan, expressed his concern about the absence of the “Pharaohs” in the match against Australia in the 32nd round of the World Cup.

“Congratulations to the people of Egypt, the Arab world and Africa because we are representing them at the World Cup, and my congratulations go to Egyptian fans around the world and to Egyptian fans who chose to stay up late to watch the game,” Hossam Hassan said.

He added: “Thank God for promotion and we almost topped the group on goal difference.”

He continued. “We would have been in good control of the match had it not been for the loss of a player after the injury of Ahmed Fatou, but we achieved an achievement that made the Egyptian national team happy for its fans and the Arab world, advancing to the next round.”

He continued. “We will do everything in the match and take steps in the next match, despite the injuries and Muhannad Lashin’s suspension. Even if we lose 6 players, we have a ready list of 26.”

He added:We still don’t know the nature of Salah’s injury pending examination, but he felt something and asked to be substituted during the game.We will confirm his injury and Ahmed Fathi’s condition and hopefully Hamdi Fathi will be back in the next game.”

“But in all cases, I tell everyone that there are monsters with me in the team and we will live up to their expectations, and the absences do not bother me, and I call everyone to be optimistic, because I am not afraid and I trust all the Pharaohs players.”

“We faced Spain and Saudi Arabia and we had injuries in the World Cup qualifiers, but I reassure everyone about the team situation and if I’m worried about absences, it’s not right for me to be Egypt’s coach.”
