Video: Mahmoud Saber scores a historic goal for Egypt at the World Cup


Mahmoud Saber, the midfielder of the Egyptian national team, scored a historic goal for the “Pharaohs” in the World Championship.

The goal was scored in the 5th minute of the match against Iran in the 3rd round of the group stage, which became the fastest for the Egyptian national team in the history of the world championships.

According to the “Stats Foot” network, Mahmoud Saber (24 years and 10 months) became the second youngest scorer in the history of Egypt in the world championships after Abdel Rahman Fawzi (24 years and 9 months).

It is noteworthy that this is Mahmud Saber’s first participation in the World Cup.

The Egyptian team leads the seventh group with 4 points earned before the start of the third round, which ensures its passage to the 32nd round.

This is the Pharaohs’ first qualification for the second round in the history of participation in the World Cup, as they previously participated in 3 games during which they were eliminated from the first round.
