Wimbledon 2026 draw: Serena Williams will face Maya Joyce in the first round.

American superstar Serena Williams will make her highly-anticipated singles debut at Wimbledon against Australian world number 53 Maya Joyce in the first round.

Williams, the seven-time women’s champion, has been given the nod to resume her singles career in 2022 after the US Open at the age of 44.

English number one Emma Raducanu, 30, is due to start against Croatia’s Antonia Ruzic but there are concerns over her fitness after she missed training on Thursday due to a urinary tract injury.

Radukan could face top seed Aryna Sabalenka in the third round – just as she did at the All England Club last year.
