English record City complete their first deal

Manchester City have agreed their first summer deal to strengthen their ranks for next season, 2026-2027.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has stated through his website X account that “Manchester City have completed their agreement to acquire the services of Nottingham Forest star Elliott Anderson.”

“Manchester City” and “Nottingham Forest” have reached a final agreement to complete the deal, the value of which could reach 130 million pounds.

He continued. “Manchester City sources have confirmed that the deal has been fully completed after negotiations reached their final stage, as previously reported last week.”

He noted: “Anderson informed the management of “Nottingham Forest” today about his desire to leave the club and continue the transfer.

Romano explained. “The England player will undergo a medical in the United States of America in preparation for the formal completion of the deal.”

Elliott Anderson is currently playing for his country at the World Cup, noting that his contract with Nottingham has been extended until the summer of 2029.

And I mentioned BBC network Anderson’s transfer to “Manchester City” will become the most expensive in the history of English football.

He continued. “The value of Anderson’s deal will surpass the previous England record, which was last summer’s £125 million transfer of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak to Liverpool.
