The Egyptian star is leaving Liverpool after 9 historic years
“Al Hilal” club has entered the arena of struggle to acquire the star of “Liverpool” Egyptian Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer period.
Mohamed Salah has previously announced the end of his journey with Liverpool after 9 years at Anfield and has been linked with a move to many clubs in the Saudi League, most notably Al Ittihad.
Reliable reporter Bruno Andrade has reported on ESPN that Al Hilal FC have been aggressive in signing Mohamed Salah as he has become their top target in the Mercato in light of their desire to sign a new striker next season.
Andrade clarified that “Al-Zaem” will offer the Egyptian star to sign a contract with a total salary of 60 million euros for the next 3 years, so that he will receive 20 million euros per season.
Thus, Mohamed Salah will receive about a tenth of the salary that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo receives at Al-Nasr club, where he receives 200 million euros per year, according to previous media reports.
The salary, which the Egyptian star will receive at Al Hilal club, is less than the salary he received at Liverpool, where he received more than 24 million euros per year, according to media reports.
Notably, Mohamed Salah’s name was linked with a move to the Saudi Arabian league as it began to attract stars in the summer of 2023, but he opted to upgrade to Liverpool before his journey with the English club came to an end recently.
