An unusual solution to the dilemma by the German coach.
The coach of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann, and his coaching staff are waiting for a rather difficult training session to prepare for the 32nd round of the World Championship.
That’s because Germany, who top Group E ahead of their third game against Ecuador, won’t know their next opponent until next Saturday’s final group stage matches.
Germany will face the third-placed team in one of the groups (A, B, C, D, F) in Boston next Monday, which means that the German coach has only 48 hours to analyze the opponent.
Therefore, the coach did not hesitate to express his displeasure publicly, as he said in press statements, which report “come on“I don’t think it’s ideal that we should be punished as the leaders of the group… This, in my opinion, is unfair.”
The German coach added: “Anyone can imagine better conditions than spending a Saturday night in intensive work and then on Sunday to represent the team against a rival.”
The coach explained that his assistants have already done some preliminary work to avoid starting from scratch, and several members of the technical staff have shared the task of scouting potential opponents and studying the matches of the most famous rivals.
Ironically, Nagelsman also emphasized the atmosphere of the working group. being young, “they could work all night and nothing would happen to them.”
