Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has decided to evaluate two of the team’s players in the pre-season to determine their fate, whether to stay or loan them out.

On July 13, the team is scheduled to undergo a medical examination, after which all preparations will begin.

The World Cup players will join the squad gradually, depending on when their tournament campaign ends, and it has not yet been decided whether a training camp will be held outside Madrid.

Moreno admires Pitarch

But Mastantuno and Pitarch are exceptional cases. The manager expressed his great admiration for Pitarch at the end of the season with Real, and Mastantuno was among the players he followed when his star arrived at River Plate, regardless of his performances in his first year in Europe.

 

It was Arbeloa who gave Thiago Pitarch the opportunity to make his debut in the first team. He played just one minute in the first leg of the Champions League round of 32, which ended in a 1–0 win over Mourinho’s Benfica.

Between then and the end of the season, Petarch started 11 matches, played the full 90 minutes in 10 and came on as a substitute in five others.

The club’s academy graduate will play at the European Under-19 Championship in Wales in the coming days, and while there are no suggestions for him to leave, he intends to explore all his options to convince Mourinho to stay.
