Manchester United midfielder linked with Al Hilal and Al Nasr
“Manchester United” Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandez has decided his position regarding the offers to move to the Saudi Arabian league in the upcoming summer transfer period.
Yesterday, Tuesday, Bruno Fernandez took part in Portugal in the second round of the group stage, winning his first victory at the 2026 World Cup against Uzbekistan with a score of 5-0.
Less than 24 hours after the game, reliable journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed. Talk Sports Radio:that Fernandez intends to stay in “Manchester United” next season.
Radio reported that the Portuguese midfielder has told his teammates in the national team that he does not want to leave Manchester United next summer, despite having only one season left on his contract.
The 31-year-old has a release clause in his contract with the Red Devils that allows him to leave for any non-English team for €65m, which could facilitate his move to the Saudi Arabian league if he so chooses.
Last year, Fernandez was linked with a move to the Saudi Arabian league, particularly Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr clubs, but he decided to stay, but some reports suggested that could happen after the World Cup.
Bruno Fernandes has become one of Manchester United’s most notable stars in recent years since his move to the club in January 2020, making 327 appearances for them, scoring 107 goals and assisting 108.
