The Senegalese federation said in an official statement. “Edouard Mendy will not be available for Senegal’s next match after injuring his left knee during the Norway game.”

Saudi Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mendy suffered an injury during the match against Norway and left the field in the 63rd minute, replaced by his counterpart Mori Diaw, who is expected to defend the Teranga Lions’ goal against Iraq.
