In Western Europe, the temperature has reached a high level


Forty people have died in a heat wave in France since June 18, officials said, as temperatures reached record highs in several major cities and the heat wave hit its peak in many European countries.

In Western Europe, measures have been taken to help people manage the heat.

The BBC’s Pierre-Antoine Denis from Nice reports that the highest temperatures will be between 30C and 35C (86F and 95F).
