Big Deal of the Day 2026: Friends Espresso Series 1 Is $200 Off

The Fellow Espresso Series 1 is $200 off on Amazon Prime Day 2026. This is the first time there’s been a discount of any kind—and frankly, I’m surprised it happened so soon, especially with such a generous price break.

Fellow makes easy-to-use products that satisfy the nerdest of nerds: That’s why I love this kind of product. And I was glad Ena Espresso Series 1 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) as a game changer when it came out earlier this year, a machine that changed what latte lovers expected from a home espresso machine. It is, in fact, mine espresso machine of the moment for home buyers, a beautiful mix of power and convenience.

That’s because this is the first premium coffee maker I’ve seen that lets you play hard and shoot your record – and makes it easy to do – instead of just squeezing 15 bars against the puck and using a stopwatch.

Series 1 offers easy-to-select profiles that are light, medium, or dark. The “lever” system with six levels of infusion helps to imitate the syrupy body and great crema of an espresso machine. Black, painless turbo drawings it’s possible, too.

These types of deals have previously been unavailable for less than $5,000. For the next three days, it starts at $1,300 instead.

Nothing is important unless the espresso tastes good, and if it is easy to use even for those who have never thought about the history of pressure once in their lives. The person passes the test. It offers long-term temperature stability (two minutes), and automatic milk extraction that is one of the best automatic milking machines out there.

You will still need it a good espresso grinder– I like to encourage Orchard Encore ESP ($200) on Fellow’s Opus grinder of the previous generation of Opus for easy conversion. But this said, Man has just released Opus 2 grinder at the same price I haven’t tried it. You’ll also want a good 20 inches of clearance if you want to remove your water tank to fill it, rather than using a pitcher or kettle. Volumetric control remains limited, according to many reports—Fellow is working on a firmware update—so your shot of espresso can run out by a few milliliters.

And this is it kettle it’s on the counter of every pour-over enthusiast I know. It’s mine too. It’s beautiful, compact, heats up quickly, and can be adjusted to a degree.
