The Lenovo Legion Go S gaming handheld is $549 on Prime Day

If you’re looking for cheaper alternatives to gaming hardware, Amazon has a Windows version of Lenovo Legion Go S on sale for $549.99 (usually around $700) on Prime Day, matching a previously seen in Woot a month or so. What it lacks in performance, it makes up for in an excellent 120Hz panel with adjustable refresh rates, a comfortable, clear display, and fast speeds. Considering the recent price hikes in all things internal memory, we’re happy to participate where we can use powerful hardware, especially if you’re looking for something with a little more endurance. Cyberpunk 2077 on your next trip.

While the Windows game didn’t impress us with its performance at launch, some of that disappointment stemmed from its hefty $730 price tag. At the time of release the Z2 Go device did not feel competitive with other machines around the same price, and the more expensive Z1 Extreme gave a big jump in FPS. Prices for other devices have gone up, but the Z2 Go model has sold out regularly, and it looks like a better value for the summer of 2026 than it did a few months ago. Microsoft has continued to support Windows on console and mobile devices and updates and fixesand the result is much easier to use than it was when Legion Go debuted. You don’t even need to keep Windows on it, and you probably shouldn’t.

At around $550 as we saw the other daysure, put Bazzite there. It should beat Steam Deck a bit while it’s working using its turbo modes later. Please without paying more. Also don’t expect its small trackpad to be useful.
