How to sleep well in the hot season


Most of us need seven to eight hours of good quality sleep each night to function properly.

Toddlers, children, and babies need more sleep because they are still growing.

But keep in mind that most people can function better after a night or two of sleep.

Although you may yawn a little more often than usual, you’ll probably be fine.

These recommendations are based on suggestions from Professor Kevin Morgan, Director of the Clinical Sleep Research Unit at Loughborough University, and Lisa Artis of the Sleep Council. This article was first published in July 2019.
