Beautiful commercials are among the few best Amazon Prime Day deals in the world. While some tech products are only sold because they are old, or the ads are the same that you can find all year round, the beauty that we have always seen is in the latest and the latest or the best that we don’t want to go with. We test a lot of technical expertise, but we apply the same testing process to the beauty products we use in our everyday lives. Here are some ads for our tried and tested favorites.

Italian Diffon Supreme Ionic XL for $135 ($34 off)
I like this light, easy to use spreadr and reach several times a week. It is especially good for curly hair. It’s not the fastest towel I’ve ever used, but it’s gentle on my legs and allows me to dry without feeling guilty. Goodness knows I’ve already conditioned my hair, but I don’t feel like I’m adding to the damage when I use it on shower days. –Louryn Strappe
Philips Norelco Multigroom for $65 ($25 off)
Assessor Matthew Korfage says the Philips Norelco Multigroom is the best deal beard trimmers. It is a versatile tool that is not only silent but also operates at a high RPM, cutting around without any nicks when used safely. Attachments, including the nose hair straightener, are easy to swap out, and the five-hour battery life means you won’t have to worry about recharging on short trips. The only minor drawback is that it doesn’t come with storage for all guards – but that’s nothing a ziplock bag can’t fix. –Boutayna Chokrane

Philips Sonicare 4100 is my top choice for a medium-sized electric toothbrushDelivering a cleaner sonic experience that outperforms conventional oscillating. Its integrated brush head is ideal for those with small mouths, ensuring that every molar is reached. Key features include a speed sensor that reduces vibration when washing too hard, a two-minute switch to shut off, and two power settings (low and high). With its BrushSync technology, it tracks your brushing time and reminds you when it’s time to change the brush head. In addition, one tree takes about two weeks. –Boutayna Chokrane

This is highly recommended for GHD’s the best hair straightener. It has only one temperature, 365 degrees Fahrenheit, which it maintains through sensors that measure the 1.75-inch plates every 250 seconds. Not for everyone—didn’t do wonders for my curly hair when I tried it-but if your purpose of using a heater is to prevent damage, this is one of the best options. It also comes in a smaller, 1-inch-plate version for $14 less. I think it’s important to get bigger plates to get the job done faster, but one inch plates are easier to manage. –Kat Merck
Vacation Classic SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion for $36 ($12 off)
I love this big jar of SPF 50 sunscreen. It smells like the beach, works evenly without leaving a white cast on my fair toned olive skin, and absorbs quickly. I tried it on the beach on Memorial Day with a very fresh tummy tuck and was able to avoid the burn. (This is not recommended, but don’t say we don’t try things before we make them.) —Louryn Strappe
