New Zealand, on the other hand, lost 12.70 points in their loss to the Pharaohs, causing them to drop in the rankings despite moving up one place to 84th in the world.

At the tournament level, the Egyptian team increased its score to 4 points, leading the seventh group before the last round of the group stage and is very close to qualifying for the round of 32.
