Egypt coach Hossam Hassan has announced the Pharaohs’ starting line-up to face New Zealand in the second round of the 2026 World Cup Group 7 tournament at BC Place today, Monday.

Both teams come into the match aiming for their first win of the tournament, after settling for one point each in the opening round.

Egypt’s national team opened their World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw against Belgium, while New Zealand drew 2-2 with Iran.

Hossam Hasan opted to keep the same line-up that played against Belgium without making any changes to the starting line-up, while the duo of Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush continued to lead the Pharaohs’ front line.
