Marc Marquez continued his impressive return from injury with victory in Brno as MotoGP championship leader Marco Bezecchi sat out a one-race suspension.
Marquez, a seven-time champion, claimed the 100th victory of the 33-year-old’s career Hungary was last out And won again while nursing his recovery from leg and shoulder surgery.
The Ducati rider saw off teammate Francesco Bagnaia with five laps to go for the win, with AI Ogura passing Bagnaia late on to take second.
Aprilia rider Bezecchi was banned from racing on Saturday after an altercation with a marshal.
The Italian crashed out of the sprint race and was trying to get back on his damaged bike when he twice slapped a marshal in the gravel trap.
The 27-year-old later apologized privately on Sunday morning and said his behavior “wouldn’t happen”.

Bezecchi’s team-mate Jorge Martin finished ninth and is now eight points behind him in the championship standings, with Fabio Di Gianantonio third.
Reigning champion Marquez sits fourth overall, 40 points behind Bezeci, 102 points behind just a few weeks ago.
“It’s a very important win, something special,” Marquez said. “I never give up, but I was suffering a lot, I was empty.
“It was the longest six laps of the year and I’m very happy.”
