Almerac was victorious in a photo finish to beat a quality international field in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
The four-year-old colt was a 25-1 shot for the feature race on the final day of Royal Ascot, a Group One sprint over six furlongs.
Australia’s Zollister and Japan’s Satono Rave were battling over a furlong, until Almerac burst away to take the win by a nose.

It gave trainer William Haggs his fourth win at the meeting and jockey Tom Marquand his third.
Ridden by Ryan Moore, Satono Rev finished second in the race for the second consecutive year with 15-8 favorite Zollister third.
“I’m not just saying this for effect, but really my first thought when I thought I was going to win was for Jim,” said Marquand.
“This horse and he both took horror falls late last year. Jim is fighting for his career – he should ride this horse. This is his (ride).
“It’s great to have him here and hopefully he can get some joy out of seeing this boy get off the ground and win a big one.”
