Among the people who were killed were a father and his two daughters. The woman was injured and died later Saturday. Several others were injured.

“The region did not receive any warning before the incident,” said Al Jazeera’s correspondent, Tareq Abuo Azzum, in Gaza. “This is a sad reality that is growing stronger every day.”

Five people were injured earlier on Friday evening after Israeli airstrikes targeted displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of ​​Khan Younis.
