A Bedford train passenger described an accident.

Emergency services are at the scene of a collision between two trains near Bedford, Transport for England has confirmed.

Operator East Midlands Rail said services were being affected by the crash.

Images from the scene show where the two trains collided and where passengers appear to have been ejected.

Passenger Pete Knapp told the BBC he felt like he was in a bomb blast.
